SAN FRANCISCO — Uber Technologies Inc. lost its push to beat back a request for information about drivers who operate in San Francisco.

San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard Ulmer Jr. announced at the end of a hearing Thursday morning that he was denying Uber’s petition to quash subpoenas from the city treasurer and tax collector, which asked for information about Uber drivers who operated for at least seven days in the city from July 2016 through March 2017.
