The Senate has scheduled a July 7 confirmation vote for Kara Stoll to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. If confirmed, she would be the first appellate court nominee approved by the GOP-controlled Senate in 2015.

The Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner partner cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee in April, and on Wednesday the full Senate agreed by unanimous consent to hold a confirmation vote without debate.
