SAN FRANCISCO — Oculus VR Inc., the virtual reality company Facebook paid $2 billion to acquire last year, has been sued by a pair of men who claim company founder Palmer Luckey passed off work that he did developing VR technology for them as his own.

Total Recall Technologies, a partnership between Ron Igra and Thomas Seidl, filed suit Wednesday against Oculus and Luckey in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California with high-octane counsel from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
