Although law firms are doing relatively well as the economy recovers, it was not long ago when California saw a number of law firm failures, both big and small. While times are changing, it is important for law firms to have agreements and policies in place to protect from unforeseen problems down the road.

When dissolution is in sight, some firms manage with the least amount of expense and time, while others end up in prolonged litigation that can cost partners legal fees, time and expense they can ill afford.
