SAN FRANCISCO — The Senate Judiciary Committee moved quickly this week to schedule a new confirmation hearing for U.S. Patent and Trademark Office director nominee Michelle Lee.

Lee and Daniel Marti, nominated to be the White House’s intellectual property enforcement coordinator, will return to the Senate panel on Jan. 21, just seven weeks after they appeared for questioning before the 113th Congress. Four judicial nominees will get hearings the same day.
