Nearly two years after revised Title IX rules were announced, the Department of Education released the final version of regulations to provide enhanced safeguards for victims of sexual assault on college campuses, and it also expanded protections for LGBTQI+ and pregnant students.
The one item that remained on hold, however, was a proposed rule on transgender athletes.
