West Chester Mayor Dianne Herrin was among the female professionals, business owners and community members who gathered on May 3 for the seventh annual women’s networking event at the law firm Gawthrop Greenwood in downtown West Chester.

The event was launched by Gawthrop Greenwood partner Sandra Knapp, who in 2011 became the first woman in Chester County to be elected to manage a midsize law firm and was just re-elected this year.
