Calling on law firms to catch up to a rapidly diversifying corporate America, Dennis W. Archer, president-elect of the American Bar Association, spoke yesterday at the Philadelphia Bar Association’s quarterly meeting.

“The legal profession must lead, and not follow, the rest of society,” Archer said as he gave the third annual Judge A. Leon Higginbotham Jr. Public Interest Lecture.
