A Muslim congregation claiming that Bensalem Township impeded its religious liberty by denying the group permission to build a mosque can move forward with its lawsuit against the municipality.

U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania denied the township’s motion on Monday to dismiss the case, which was brought on behalf of the Muslim group Bensalem Masjid by the U.S. government.
