• On June 30; and July 7, 14, 21 and 28, the Philadelphia Bar Association’s public interest section, law school outreach committee, is scheduled to host the “Summer Brown Bag Lunch Series,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Philadelphia Bar Association, 11th-floor conference center, 1101 Market St. On June 9 and 16, the programs will be held in the 10th-floor boardroom. These free programs provide an opportunity for summer law student interns to meet public interest attorneys who are leaders in their field and learn about different types of public interest practice and fellowship opportunities in the Greater Philadelphia area. • On July 14, the law school outreach committee of the public interest section of the Philadelphia Bar Association is set to hold the Philadelphia summer public interest reception 2016 at 5 p.m. at Ballard Spahr, 1735 Market St., Philadelphia. This event celebrates summer law student work in public interest and public service organizations in and around Philadelphia and provides an opportunity for students and public interest/public sector attorneys to get to know each other better in an informal setting. Dress code is business attire. Refreshments and light appetizers will be served. Register online by July 6 at
