As the number of lawsuits being filed in Philadelphia over the diabetes drug Invokana continues to grow, Janssen Pharmaceuticals has begun looking to send the cases elsewhere.

The drugmaker filed a forum non ­conveniens motion Thursday seeking to have the case Jeffries v. Janssen Pharmaceuticals transferred from the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas to Tennessee, which is the plaintiff’s former home state.
