The newly elected president judge of the Commonwealth Court said she is “inheriting a well-oiled machine,” but expecting a hectic year, as the court will have to handle a number of changes to the bench.

Commonwealth Court Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt was unanimously elected as the court’s president judge Monday afternoon by her fellow commissioned judges. Leavitt took over the leadership role from Judge Dan Pellegrini, who held the post since 2012.
