A group of former Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General employees has sued Attorney General Kathleen Kane, as well as the Philadelphia Daily News, over alleged retaliation that resulted in defamation.

Former OAG employees Frank Fina, E. Marc Costanzo, Randy Feathers and Richard A. Sheetz and former Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan filed suit against Kane on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The complaint alleges violation of First Amendment rights, defamation, false light, invasion of privacy and conspiracy with regard to Kane allegedly leaking grand jury information and releasing emails involving the plaintiffs.
