Temple University law professor Edward Ohlbaum, known in the legal community as a pioneer in trial advocacy, the author of a treatise on evidence, and for mentoring attorneys of all ages, died of cancer Thursday at age 64.
Ohlbaum, called “Eddie” by those who knew him, was a member of the Temple faculty for nearly 30 years and was widely regarded as a national trailblazer in trial advocacy. Ohlbaum was instrumental in creating Temple’s trial advocacy program as well as coaching the school’s national trial team to five national championships.
