This is my take on my wife’s take on what it is like to be married to a shingle hanger, followed by some quick thoughts from my wife. In writing my section of this article, I never asked my wife for her thoughts. The content is as much of my perspective on her perspective as it possibly could be. I am pretty curious as to what she thinks of it, and in turn, of how accurate (or not) I am.

My Thoughts on My Wife’s Thoughts

He writes briefs. I change diapers. He answers complaints. I answer cries of "carry me" from our daughter as soon as I start feeding our newborn. I am the wife of a man who started his own law firm at the age of 31 — three-and-a-half years ago. And I am the mother of his two young children. Needless to say, this is not easy. But we both are pulling our weight and it is working so far.
