A federal appeals court has revived a legal malpractice lawsuit brought against Armstrong Teasdale by a former client who claims that the law firm had a conflict of interest when it represented him in developing a technology company.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit ruled on March 29 that a lower court erred when it dismissed the complaint against the St. Louis-based law firm. The lower court found that the five-year statute of limitations period under Missouri law had expired.
