President Obama nominated several people to judicial positions in the last three weeks, including three to vacant Pennsylvania posts.

The latest round, which was announced Dec. 1, included Mark Raymond Hornak of Pittsburgh, who was appointed to a federal judge spot for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and attorney Robert David Mariani of Scranton, who was appointed to a district judge opening in the state’s Middle District.
