The pass rate for the July 2008 Pennsylvania bar examination was the highest since 1994 and has continued the upward trend of the past three years.

Of the 1,911 test-takers in July, 1,582 — or 82.8 percent — passed. In July 2007, 77.8 percent of 2,004 applicants passed.
