While the lagging economy’s effect on business was an obvious concern for small and midsized firms in 2008, there was no shortage of lateral movement among them for most of the year.

The year saw the loss of a few midsized firms to dissolution and mergers, as well as a number of new office openings and new practices for firms across the state, all of which contributed to plenty of attorney migration.
