What’s the first piece of advice you would you give someone when dealing with a crisis?

Consider your resources. Sometimes a crisis can feel isolating—like it’s you alone against an overwhelming challenge. However, it is likely that you have people, programs, and tools that can be of great assistance. Don’t be too proud to ask for help or too panicked to plan and assess. You want to utilize every available resource to address a difficult issue. When these efforts fail (and they might), keep the crisis in perspective. Very few problems are matters of life and death. All you can give is your best. If you have done that, you can hold your head high.
