JBS USA and other defendants were hit with a workplace injury lawsuit on July 12 in Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. The court case was filed by the Pearce Law Firm on behalf of a former JBS plant employee who alleges that she was severely injured after a faulty machine crushed her arm. The suit also pursues product liability claims against Sealed Air Corp. and other machinery manufacturers. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
