A Pennsylvania federal judge determined attorney Douglas Rosenblum and the Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti firm should not be disqualified from criminal proceedings against the company doing business as the now-defunct Par Funding, despite one of the firm’s attorneys having been assaulted by the brother of the company’s former CEO.

U.S. District Judge Mark A. Kearney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania determined July 12 that there was no conflict of interest disqualifying Rosenblum and the Pietragallo Gordon, where Rosenblum is a partner, from his representation of Complete Business Solutions Group Inc., d/b/a Par Funding, in the criminal proceedings involving the company and its former officers, who stand accused of allegedly defrauding hundreds of investors.
