Hurley is a true unsung hero among court-appointed defense attorneys. She has traversed the intricate world of being an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia and then transitioning to the task of representing the city’s most vulnerable. She is truly a justice warrior. Hurley does it all. She makes sure that the Constitution’s protections applies to her clients and then she volunteers her times as a mock trial coach and Nazareth Academy and a board member of the Brehon Law Society.

She is a tireless advocate for justice on both sides of the spectrum and is well respected in every courthouse in which she practices.
