Schwarz has been in the business for over two decades. In that time he has built a relationship with several unions across and around the city of Philadelphia. That relationship helped him to see the tiny mechanisms that were causing workers catastrophic injuries, especially in large work environments like Philadelphia International Airport.

Very early on in his legal career, he began noticing trends in the work related cases he was seeing. During his due diligence he saw tiny, often overlooked pieces of machinery were causing horrific injuries. Instead of filing lawsuit after lawsuit, he decided to change the way manufacturers fabricated heavy machinery. If a gate was causing pinch point injuries, for example, he would focus on all aspects of the gate until he found the mechanism that allowed the gate to cause those injuries. He would then bring that back to the manufacturer so they could address whatever dangerous issue was in play, instead of getting rich from suing over and over again. His focus is on worker safety.
