Mantine describes herself as a “flexible mentor” because she readily adapts her practices to what suits her mentees, whether that be face-to-face meetings, text, Zoom or email. She is committed to supporting her mentees on their road to success, whether that leads to Reed Smith, in-house or elsewhere.

She gravitates toward mentoring those with whom she shares common career advancement and life challenges. With two daughters and a son, she is known for assisting mentees in their transition to and from leaves while maintaining their career aspirations, understanding well what concerns them at that pivotal moment and various ways to navigate that transition. She is truly expert at reassuring talented lawyers of their value, and that they need to take care of themselves—physically, mentally and emotionally.
