Evidence obtained after a Pike County man withdrew his consent mid-search of his vehicle during a traffic stop can be suppressed, the Pennsylvania Superior Court affirmed Monday.

Pennsylvania State Trooper William Golden initially stopped Ian Lake for heavily tinted windows while patrolling in Pike County in June 2020. Lake granted Golden consent to search his vehicle but revoked his consent when Golden activated the trunk release, the filing said.
