Following is a listing of Pennsylvania executive and legislative action for the week of Aug. 29. Both houses of the General Assembly were in summer recess at press time. The state House of Representatives was scheduled to return to session on Sept. 12, unless called earlier by Speaker Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster. The Pennsylvania Senate was set to reconvene on Sept. 19, subject to earlier recall by President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, R-Centre.

Marijuana Pardons

Gov. Tom Wolf and Lt. Gov. John Fetterman on Sept. 1 announced a coordinated effort for a one-time, large-scale pardons project for people with minor, non-violent marijuana criminal convictions.
