This past summer was the 20th year of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group’s program for diverse first-year law students. Throughout the years, diverse 1Ls have had the opportunity to be considered for paid summer jobs at the major Philadelphia law firms and corporate law departments that are members of the Phildelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG). Starting with 12 Fellows in 2003, there were 47 in 2022. In all there have been over 675 Fellows.

This column celebrates them—their accomplishments, their career choices, their contributions to the societies in which they live, the way they have paid it forward—guiding, mentoring and supporting those who came after them.
