In an industry of law firms trying to be all things to all clients, Philadelphia-based Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young has carved out a niche that has placed the regional midsize firm at many of the same tables as the thousand-lawyer behemoths in the Am Law 50.

Leaders at the financial services-focused firm said it draws its business in roughly equal parts from corporate, litigation and investment management groups, with an additional 20% coming from more diversified practices in intellectual property, trust and estates and pure tax work.
