On Nov. 8, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath labor and employment partner Thomas Johnson II co-presented a webinar titled, “The OSHA ETS — What Employers Need to Know (And Do),” that addressed the Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA)’s much anticipated Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) that was announced Nov. 4.

The webinar discussed the key provisions included in the OSHA ETS, its impact on employers and recommendations for compliance, potential consequences for noncompliance, and coordination with state occupational safety and health plans, current state executive orders, state wage and hour laws and other laws. The presenters also talked about how this new guidance relates to new requirements for health care workers and federal contractors.
