DBi Services, a provider of road and facilities maintenance, was hit with a class action Wednesday in Pennsylvania Middle District Court over the mass layoff of more than 1,000 workers. The suit, brought by Margolis Edelstein, accuses the Hazelton, Pennsylvania company of violating the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, or WARN Act, by abruptly shutting down business operations and terminating nearly all employees. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:21-cv-01833, Jankowski v. DBi Services, LLC.
