Pennsylvania-founded litigation firm Chartwell Law opened its first West Coast office—and 23rd overall—in Portland, Oregon, last week, poaching a rainmaking group of insurance coverage attorneys from a local firm to support the highest-demand areas at the firm.
The firm’s expansion takes a decisive step in the direction of becoming a nationwide practice after launching an office in Atlanta earlier this year, leaders at the 170-lawyer firm said.
