The Pennsylvania Superior Court has issued an opinion clarifying the circumstances under which in camera review orders can be collaterally appealed immediately.

An en banc Superior Court panel consisting of President Judge Jack Panella and Judges Victor Stabile, Alice Beck Dubow, Deborah Kunselman, Carolyn Nichols, Mary Murray, Maria McLaughlin, Megan McCarthy King and Daniel McCaffrey quashed the appeal of Erie Insurance Exchange, which had objected to producing what it claimed were privileged documents for in camera review in an insurance dispute.
