Former Philadelphia Family Court Judge Lyris Younge is set to face sanctioning after the original hearing date was pushed back at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic nearly a year ago.

The Court of Judicial Discipline ordered the hearing to proceed April 23. In February 2020, Younge admitted to ethics charges related to depriving litigants who appeared before her of their due process rights.
