Among major U.S. legal markets, Philadelphia partners are most dissatisfied with their compensation in 2020, even though average partner pay grew significantly, surpassing the $1 million mark, a new report said.

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s biennial partner compensation survey, released earlier this week, also showed a big jump in originations among Philadelphia partners, and a higher average number of billable hours logged by partners in the City of Brotherly Love than any of the other metro areas surveyed.
