Jocelyn Gabrynowicz Hill, general counsel, Conrail

Hill has served as the public face of Conrail since joining the organization five years ago. She plays an integral role in establishing and maintaining relationships with elected officials as well as city, state and federal agencies along the 1,200 miles of Conrail tracks in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Detroit. She has led a number of high-profile transactions, including negotiating a sustainable solution for the cleanup of Richmond Industrial Track with the city of Philadelphia, as well as securing DCED grants for community partners to maintain the land surrounding the tracks to reduce the opportunity for trespassing. Most recently, she has been working with Delaware River Waterfront Corp. to reactivate Pier 18, popularly known as Graffiti Pier, which will conceptualize and build a public park and creative waterfront destination.
