The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments over a high-profile $21 million verdict that was tossed out by the state Superior Court twice.

On May 31 of last year, a three-judge Superior Court panel agreed to reconsider its April 2018 decision in Berg v. Nationwide Mutual Insurance, which had tossed the multimillion-dollar award that stemmed from an allegedly faulty car repair. Only three business days later, the panel issued its reconsidered opinion, which held to the same result in every major respect.
