Pennsylvania Sen. Lisa M. Boscola, D-Lehigh, said she will introduce an increased compensation limit for local registrar offices. Boscola said her legislation would up the compensations limit from $60,000 to $85,000.
According to her memorandum, once that maximum is reached the local registrar must transfer all additional fees to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.The Department of Health would be required to deposit $4 to the vital statistics improvement fund and $4 to the general fund.
