Are there any ethical concerns involving moving one’s law practice to another location?

Moving a law office, particularly if one has been entrenched in a particular location for many years, is an extremely expensive, time-consuming, chaotic and difficult thing for any lawyer to go through. Particularly for a small firm or solo practitioner, not only is there a considerable effort required in making the move, but one still has to maintain their cash flow, court dates, etc. In a perfect world, you could just block off two or three weeks and make the move during that time period. But, there is no such thing as a perfect world. For many firms to do that, they would be out of business within a couple weeks.
