For the first time in more than a quarter-century, the president of the Energy Bar Association is from a Pennsylvania-based law firm.

Robert Weishaar, chairman of McNees Wallace & Nurick’s energy and environmental group, was installed last week as the EBA’s new leader. Weishaar, who joined McNees Wallace in 1996, splits his time between the firm’s Washington, D.C., and Frederick, Maryland, offices, both of which he manages. He served as the EBA’s president-elect in 2016.
