Earlier this year, The Legal’s editorial staff set out to select our latest group of Diverse Attorneys of the Year, our attempt to shine a light on the outstanding work being done by minority attorneys across Pennsylvania, whose work is sometimes overlooked by a profession still catching up when it comes to diversity. We put this list together every two years, and we consistently struggle to limit the group to its current size. Based on the suggestions we hear from the legal community and the game-changing attorneys our own staff recommends for the list, it could go on much longer.
The lawyers composing this year’s group are a cross-section of the profession in Pennsylvania. They are law school deans and public defenders. They are personal injury attorneys and law firm leaders. They are corporate stewards and determined prosecutors. They are judges and litigators and champions of diversity.
