Former Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Joseph C. Waters Jr. has been sentenced to 24 months in prison for corruption charges stemming from fixing cases for campaign donors.

At a sentencing hearing Thursday afternoon, U.S. District Judge Juan R. Sanchez of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania additionally sentenced Waters to three years of supervised release after his two-year prison term as well as a fine of $5,500.
