The Dallas Chapter of the Texas General Counsel Forum held its first quarterly event in Dallas on Feb. 27.
Event chairman Bart Showalter of Baker Botts introduced the panel discussion on “What CEOs Really Think of Their Law Departments.” Panel moderator, Elaine Whitbeck, vice president and associate general counsel and assistant secretary at Alcon Laboratories, led the discussion with panel members Jane McBride, corporate counsel in Dallas and director of legal services for Spherion Legal Group; and Darrel Robertson, business transaction and securities lawyer at Jenkens and Gilchrist.
