There’s a new leader coming to West Texas’ law school.

Lubbock’s Texas Tech University School of Law named Jack Wade Nowlin as its new dean, replacing former dean Darby Dickerson, who scooted over to John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Nowlin starts his new job on July 15. Nowlin is now a law professor and senior associate dean of the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he directed a faculty workshop program and primarily handled faculty development, strategic planning, communications and special projects.
