Chad Dougherty and Steven Roberts have been promoted to partners in Patterson + Sheridan in Houston. Dougherty has a chemical engineering background and is experienced in semiconductor technologies, industrial products and the oil and gas sector. Roberts is a former electrical design engineer and is knowledgeable about a wide range of complex technologies. David Matthews has joined Patterson + Sheridan as of counsel in the firm’s Houston office, where he focuses on foreign and domestic patent preparation and prosecution in the areas of telecommunications, semiconductors and consumer electronics. Eric Moore has joined the firm as an associate in the Dallas office. His duties will primarily involve preparation and prosecution of patent applications with an emphasis on computer and electrical technologies.

Andrea Stover has joined Baker Botts as a partner in the firm’s global projects practice in Austin. Stover has experience representing clients, particularly in the energy and construction industries, before state and federal regulatory bodies.
