Haynes and Boone posted a 3.6 percent increase in gross revenue in 2016 compared with 2015, and saw a 3 percent increase in net income, thanks in part to a strong performance in its technology, financial services and private equity practice areas and the “stabilizing” of energy work.

Gross revenue at the Dallas-based firm hit $375 million in 2016, up from $363 million in 2015, and net income was $122 million, up from $118.5 million the previous year. Revenue per lawyer was $685,000, down 0.7 percent when compared with $690,000 the year before, and profits per partner came in at $930,000, up 2.8 percent compared with $905,000 the prior year.
