William Caudill, a Norton Rose Fulbright tax partner in Houston, has been named the new chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation. With more than 17,000 members, the group is the largest organization of tax lawyers in the United States.

Caudill, a former chair of the State Bar of Texas’ Tax Section who has practiced tax law for more than 30 years, said he’s always wanted to lead the ABA’s tax section. He said his goals are to provide quality service and quality committees for the members and to attract more members to the organization.
