Lawyers know divorce leaves almost everyone unsatisfied, even the ones who received superb representation. In fact, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers reported that 80 percent of divorced parties in a recent study felt they received a “raw deal” in the divorce. In many cases, both sides believe they are harmed by the process.

Divorce also leaves both sides looking for someone to blame, someone to sue, for all the pain they felt through the divorce process and the dissatisfaction they still feel over the result. They often want to sue their own attorney, not recognizing or appreciating the quality of the legal work they received.
