As the energy industry reels from low oil and natural gas prices, some Texas law firms may also feel a pinch in some practices but growth in others.

A recent survey of big law firms in Texas indicates that some firms see a decrease in domestic energy legal work and an increase in bankruptcy representations. But oil and gas attorneys say that the hardest hit firms focus on title opinion work, while litigation firms might actually be busier.
