An Austin firm that won more than a quarter of a million dollars in unpaid attorney fees and costs from a man and woman during an arbitration proceeding has now filed a lawsuit to ask a district court to confirm its award.

Johnson, Rial & Parker sued Michael and Lou Ann Hogan for nearly $287,900, and it’s asking for up to $15,000 more if the defendants should file appeals, according to the original petition in Johnson, Rial & Parker v. Hogan, filed in Travis County district court.
